Movie quote from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Just watched it and I loved it, a really cool western movie with Paul Newman and Robert Redford, really funny-- you guys should watch it. Anyways, moving on to the actual point of the post. This is the Sunday post on cute things I found during the week as well as some of the best dressed. Enjoy!
Week's Clothing Obesession:
Royal Dress, $68, at urban outfitters
Ahh love this dress! The color is gorgeous but I love the loose, twirly cut. For some reason or another I've really been getting into silk clothes lately...
Week's Accessory Addiction:
Coral Baby Ring Necklace by Maya Brenner, $125, at maya brenner
Really pretty and simple necklace, I am practically obsessed with circles on jewelry so this fits the bill perfectly.
Week's Shoe Must Have:
Pin Ballet Flat by Belle by Sigerson Morrison, $270, at shopbop
Oh my goodness, love this flat TO DEATH, I am not even kidding. I love the gold detailing on it, and not to mention, it is a gorgeous color.
Week's Beauty Buy:
Frédéric Fekkai Summer Hair, $20, at beauty.com
I actually purchased this at the beginning of summer and it is amazing. It works so well on hair that spends time outside (think tennis) and it also protects from UV rays so if you have highlights (I don't) then this is the perfect thing for you. But it's just a really good cream nonetheless.
Week's Best Photo:
Gemma Ward
Week's Best Dressed:
First Place:
Michelle Pfeiffer in Lanvin
Honorable Mentions:
Gwyneth Paltrow in Zac Posen
Angie Harmon in Jay Godfrey
Ashley Olsen
The scarf, the cropped jeans, the SHOES!
Rachel Bilson in Alexander Wang
Seriously, only she can look so good in pleated shorts.

I'm Back! (yayy!)
So I'm back from camp (hence the pic from 'the parent trap' picture-- best movie ever!!--)and oh my goodness, it has been FOREVER dearies... I mean a whole entire month?? What was I thinking? Anyways, after having successfully binged on all the junk food I can get my hands on I have finally got the energy up to do a post! Just a quick one because I am still trying to get all caught up on emails and reading my style.com newsletters and what's new from shopbop and etc. etc. etc... and summer reading on top of all that. Wow all that, I really do need to get started and do something... enough of my rambling and voilà the post.
A few of my favorites:
Chunky Tunic Sweater by Juicy Couture, $268, at shopbop
Just a cute sweater that could be layered over a turtleneck or a tee. And wow I was so surprised when I saw it was Juicy, I mean, their stuff is reallllyyyy cute for fall/winter.
Fall Link Bracelet with Santorini Coin by Maya Brenner, $130, at maya brenner
Just a really pretty bracelet, I love the designer too.
Patch Pocket Jumper by Rachel Pally, $229, at shopbop
So funny to say but I actually love jumpers to death. I used to wear them all the time when I was younger but I just went shopping and got a few, I think that they look great layered with t-shirts and you can always wear tights under them.
Kismet Charms Necklace by Urban Outfitters, $18, at urban outfitters
LOVE LOVE LOVE this necklace from Urban Outfitters. I love charms to begin with but this one is absolutely adorable and at a really good price too.
Oh and as for camp, I had an absolutely AMAZING time- so much fun! Here are a few pics if you want to see them:
^^ our 4th of July fireworks. Our camp director goes all out every year and organizes a carnival complete with rides and junk food then afterwords we have a killer fireworks show that lasts for a half hour, it's crazy
^^ a fruit basket my parents sent me. it was sooo good!
^^ practicing our synchronized swimming routine at skiing
^^ a table at our horse show dinner. seriously some of the best food I've ever tasted
Then after camp, we went to Charleston SC for a few days for a friend's wedding. Oh my gosh it is so pretty down there! I've been there a few times before but it was really special this time because of the wedding. Here is a really pretty picture I took from this resturant we ate at on a pier:
anyways, as I mentioned above I'm superbusy this week with tennis, summer reading, unpacking and just catching up with my friends so I'll try to post again but it may be later in the week!

A Vogue Inspired Post
In the back of June Vogue, there were a few featured models (namely Gemma Ward, Hilary Rhonda, Sasha Pivovarova, Raquel Zimmerman, Caroline Trentini and Coca Rocha. But where is Daria??) I really liked the article because they were asked questions about their travels and I thought it was really interesting.
Just a side note, there were a lot of other pictures and everything that were in the article but it would have just taken up wayy to much room in the post. but check them out because they are great pics.
And just to amuse, I thought I'd make one for myself and I included some of my favorite questions. I'm sorry if some of the pictures didn't turn out very well, it's cloudy today and I was trying to take pictures in my room!
While I'm on the subject of travelling, I was browsing through the May issue of Instyle (one of my favorite magazines) with Jennifer Garner on the cover and I came across this cute short article on carry-ons. It pretty much left me drooling over practically all the bags they featured (I mean give me that black Chanel bag). Well here is the article in case you wanted to read it (if you would like to read the text, just click on it and it'll enlarge itself).
My pick for a carry-on.
Summer Serge Day Bag by Boyy $335
I really like this one because a) you can carry it 2 ways: as a tote bag or as a messenger kind of bag across your chest (which is great when you are wheeling a lot of stuff) b) there is a zipper compartment at the bottom if you want to put your books or magazines in and c) looks very chic (navy + white anyone?).
My pick for a suitcase.
Longchamp 22" Wheelie Suitcase $262 at www.magnums.net
Longchamp makes such nice handbags and suitcases! I love how all their stuff is made from nylon so it is water resistant it also has a ton of pockets!
Anyways, next topic...
So I was thinking about doing a new thing with posts on the weekend. I was going to feature a clothing item, an accessory of some sorts, a shoe and a picture for each week. Here it is. But I kind of need some feedback about whether you like it or not... (and I obviously added a few more things in each category since I may not be able to post in a while)
Week's clothing obsession:
Express Cotton Shorts $40
This are just so crazy cute! The zebra pattern in hot pink is so adorable and the gold detailing on it makes it even better!
Secrets of Charm Ingrid Dress $270
Rugby French Terry 3/4 Sleeve Top by Splendid $104
Lux Indio Embroidered Skirt $58
Week's accessory addiction:
Moyna Clutch $189
Glenda Shimmer Bangle at Urban Outfitters $16
Fulham Lattice Earrings $64
Week's shoe must have:
Shellys London Fiji Thong $40
Remind you of a similar Marc Jacobs line??
Oh Deer! Santorini Flat $125
Faryl Robin Joy $149
Week's best photo:
ah Daria... haha
Week's Best Dressed:
Jessica Alba
Charlize Theron
Hillary Duff
Nicole Richie
Emily Blunt
Finally, last thing I promise. Does anyone else think that the metallic trend for nails is cool? Because I really can't decide... too star trek or neutral and pretty?
OK, so this is going to be my last post for a while (actually precisely about a month) because I am going away to camp for pretty much all of July. So unfortunately, no posting for me and I'm not going to be able to return comments! Sorry that it's been kind of back to back vacations... but I'm not going to leave you guys with nothing to read so hopefully this monstrous post that will last the whole month. Well I hope so at least because I spent a long time on it! Happy July, talk to you in August! (or rather blog with you)
